I am a professional violist and luthier specializing in repairs, music pedagogy, and solo/chamber performance. I aspire to use music as a conduit for developing other’s lives into fuller, vibrant, and artistic journeys.
Music as calling
Listening to music for hours everyday, exalting the spirit by pure emotion, and getting to share this with others. My mission is to give the vibrancy of life music enables, to others.
Recent premiere:
In the heart of the city of classical music, Vienna, Austria, I was honored to premiere a viola-piano duet named “Neue Dichterliebe”. Inspired by the months I lived in Vienna studying abroad, I found immense joy and fulfillment presenting this piece.
WHAT MUSIC MEANS TO ME:
Beginning from a 6th grade class to my vocation, music encompasses an undeniable force: creativity with systems.
Ever since I picked up the viola, I found myself able to practice, play, and study music without bounds of boredom or time.
That’s how I knew it was something special.
It is my responsibility to showcase how life-changing music and instrument playing can be.
